About the artist

Marc Murad is a contemporary painter and dentist that resides in Montreal, Canada. His mediums of preference are oil paint, watercolour and charcoal drawing.

After graduating from dentistry, he spent a year in Rochester, New York, to pursue his knowledge in dental aesthetics and implantology. Marc used his spare time abroad to rekindle with his old passion of drawing. This led him to take weekly classes to learn the fundamentals of the Old Masters and attend live model drawing sessions. His new found goal was to train his eye to appreciate the subtle beauty in nature.

Back in Montreal, he began his self-teaching journey. He loves to experiment with new styles and mediums, and his fascination of the human form is constantly showing in his work.

In the upcoming years, he aspires to become a leading figure within the dental and artistic community and also enjoys collaborating with other artists.
